Join us on a walking tour of Dublin and get an experts guide into our beautiful city! From Ath Cliath to Dyflinn to Dubhlinn, we will explore the Viking and Medieval origins of the city. Trace the history of Dublin from its origins as a Viking settlement through the Norman conquest and the later expansion of Dublin which laid the foundations for the modern city of today.
Taking in Dubhlinn, St.Audeons Church, the city walls on Cook St, and the tragic history of Wood Quay.
When? – Happening on Saturday and Sunday the 22nd/23rd of August at 11.30am.
Where? – Starting and finishing at Dublinia, the tour will last approx 90 minutes, this is a tour that will suit all ages.
How to book? – The walking tour is included in the price of admission to Dublinia. To confirm your place, you will need to contact bookings@dublinia.ie or call us at 01-6794611, once your place on the walking tour is confirmed you will need to purchase your Dublinia admission ticket on the Book Tickets link for 12.45pm or later on the 22nd and 23rd August. Your admission to the Dublinia exhibitions will be on your return from the walking tour. This is to ensure we can maintain social distancing for your comfort and safety throughout your visit. You will need to present a copy of your ticket (printed or on your phone) to your tour guide on arrival to the courtyard and on admission to Dublinia.
