Our Living History guides will be on-hand to give you all the information you need to know about Viking weapons, the history of the barber surgeon, medieval medicine and herbs, and even showing you how to play Hnefatafl (Viking chess!) They are stationed around our exhibition and are happy to answer all your Viking and Medieval queries.
Exhibition and Walking Tours
We also provide daily tours of either our Viking or Medieval exhibitions with our specialist tour guides. The tour takes place at 2.00pm* everyday and information on which tour is taking place will be available on your arrival at Dublinia.
Walking tours of Viking and Medieval Dublin take place at 11.00am* Monday to Saturday. Starting at our landmark building located in Dublin’s historic heart, join a brilliant storytelling guide for a walking tour to discover the Viking and Medieval past of this 1,000-year-old city.
Both tours do not require advance booking and are included in your general admission ticket. Guided tours are in English only.
